Simon Wright's Groove Collective was created when Simon and Jed the singer song writers from "The Wright Brothers" decided to go there own ways. The result was two bands, one in the heavy rock genre by the name of Engine Three Seven and the continuation of the Wright Brothers vibe with The Groove Collective.

The Groove Collective's sound is a heavy portion of funk with a pinch of folk, a splash of soul and a fist full of hip hop served with a tall glass of groove. Simon Wright fronts the collective with heart felt lyrics and a fun loving party energy. Dave Wright, Simon's father is on lead guitars. The rest of the collective is made up of some of the north coasts hottest musicians including: Downstairs Dave (Bass), Josh Bell (Drums), Aryn Carkeet (Bass),
Shane Evans (Drums, Percussion), Jed Wright (Guitars), Flavio (Visual DJ), DJ name (Decks), Pat Grey (Keys), Eben (Bass), Ric Cole (Drums)
The Collective mixes and matches to form several line ups depending on musician avaliability and type of event.
